COMPASS ROSE TIPIS
A GATHERING PLACE
Ogden Valley has a strong Native American heritage. Prior to pioneer settlers, the Valley served as summer hunting grounds for four Utah tribes including the Shoshone (a tipi dwelling tribe). Huntsville Square was one of the traditional gathering places for tribes to trade with trappers and early settlers of the area.
Honoring this tradition of gathering, our tipis are spaces dedicated to small parties of friends and families. They are the perfect place to spend an evening for après-ski, an evening family outing or a social hour.
